This community event welcomes people from far and wide to come and take part in all the enjoyable activities including the Family Fun Day and the selection of the 2008 Queen of the Galtees. There will also be a live open concert of the very popular Irish rock band Aslan. To top that all off there will be a spectacular display of fireworks on the closing night of this four day event....

Bru Boru, the "Palace of Brian Boru". The Centre comprises a well equipped theatre, frequent performances, banquets in the centre's restaurant, an informal Teach Ceoil-sessions nightly, a fully computerised genealogy service, an exhibition hall and craft Shop....

The Terryglass Community Hall hosts a 2 hour session of Irish music, dance and song, every Thursday over the months of May, June, July and August. There will be plenty of traditional Irish music by experienced local entertainers, there will also be some storytelling by the ‘Fear an Tí’ and all are welcome to join in to the craic. After the great session finishes, the craic will continue in Paddy’s Pub next door to the Terryglass Community Hall....
