Donaghadee, Down
Portavoe, about 2 miles north of Donaghadee by the A2, covers some 30 acres. It holds a good stock of brown and rainbow tour and is very attractive place to fish. The season is from 1 March to 31 October and there is a 4 trout daily bag limit. Only orthodox fly fishing is permitted and not more than twenty rods are allowed on the water at any one time. The water level tends to drop sharply during the summer and this can have adverse effects on the fishing. Permission....
